BatteryInfo updated

A notice for anyone using BatteryInfo on Mac OS 1.5.8 or higher. With the 10.5.8 release, Apple made a change which broke the way this widget gathers data causing it to look empty while actually fully charged:

You can download a fixed version (v1.5.1) from the BatteryInfo page. It also includes a Japanese translation by Takeshi Sagara.

Hi,

This is about a glitch with the Battery widget in SL:
Every time returning from Dashboard system.log shows following entry:
com.apple.Dock.agent[334]: 2009-09-01 21:37:32.563 DashboardClient[3133:a03] (uk.co.menial.BatteryInfo) file:///Users/marcus/Library/Widgets/BatteryInfo.wdgt/BatteryInfo.js: TypeError: Result of expression ‘xml’ [null] is not an object. (line: 589)

You might want to look into it. I am running the latest widget version (1.5.1)

Hmm, that doesn’t show here. I’ll look into it today. Thank you very much for reporting the problem though.

Marcus, I’ve fixed the bug you reported. It was a server-side problem which means that you don’t need to update for it to work as intended.
